Trusting Your Inner Voice - G's Tips for Rebuilding
How Listening and Following Your Intuition Can Change Your Life in Ways You Never Imagined
We often give away our power without even realising it - letting others’ opinions, expectations, or judgments dictate our choices.
But we can protect our sense of self and stay true to our path by tuning in to our own voice of knowing.
Deep down, we each have an inner wisdom that guides us, a voice that knows what’s right for us, even when the world feels noisy and chaotic.
Trusting this voice can be challenging, especially when doubt creeps in or when others seem so sure of what’s best for us.
But every time we quiet the external noise and listen inward, we strengthen our ability to trust ourselves.
This doesn’t mean shutting out advice or guidance, it means filtering everything through the lens of your own truth.
The Center of Your Being
Always we hope that someone else has the answer,
some other place will be better,
some other time it will all turn out.
This is it.
No one else has the answer. No other place will be better.
And it has already turned out.At the center of your being you have the answers.
And you know what you want. There is no need to run outside for better seeing,
nor to peer from the window.Rather abide at the center of your being.
For the more you leave it,
the less you know.
Search your heart and see that
the way to do is to be.Lao Tzu
When we rely on our inner voice, we stay grounded. We make choices that align with our values, rather than following the crowd or trying to meet others’ expectations.
This is how we hold onto our power - by trusting that we know ourselves better than anyone else ever could.
I’ve used this many times in my life. When I follow my inner voice I’m allowing myself to be guided by the universe.
I feel as if I’m tapping into a higher wiser version of myself who knows what is good for me much better than my logical self does.
Once I started to trust that voice inside me my life changed dramatically.
The next time you face a decision, take a moment to pause. Ask yourself:
What feels true for me?
What does my inner knowing say?
Then, honor that answer.
It’s a practice that not only helps you stay aligned with your authentic self but also reminds you of the strength and wisdom you already possess.
