Journal Prompts - Boundaries and Self-Respect

  1. Recognising Your Needs: What are three things you need to feel safe, respected, and supported in your daily life? Are these needs currently being met? If not, what steps can you take to address them?

  2. Reflecting on Boundaries: Think of a time when you struggled to set a boundary. What made it difficult, and how did it affect you? How might setting a boundary have changed the outcome?

  3. Visualising Confidence: Imagine yourself setting a clear and respectful boundary in a specific area of your life. How do you feel as you do this? Write about the emotions and sense of empowerment this visualisation brings.

  4. Creating an Action Plan: Identify one area in your life where a boundary could improve your well-being. Write down a specific, actionable step you can take to start setting that boundary today.

  5. Celebrating Self-Respect: Reflect on a moment when you prioritised your own well-being, even if it was challenging. How did it feel to honour yourself in that way? How can you carry that energy forward?
